Do we need a piano at home if we are going to begin lessons?

You dont! We can bring our own for every class. But if you have it would be better for yourself to reinforce through daily practice on your own instrument. There are many affordable options for keyboards, which are a good place to begin if you are just starting out. We will be happy of guiding you to take the option that fits better for you.

3

How much will I, or my son or daughter, need to practice between piano lessons?

Learning an instrument requires a minimum time investment outside of lessons. A good place to start is 15 minutes for beginners, 30 minutes for intermediate students, and 45 minutes or more for advanced students of practice time every two days between lessons. As your ability and the musical sophistication increases, you can build from there.
